Unless otherwise stated, a quotation is valid only for the period specified on the quotation.

5. Orders
An order is only accepted once Rexxon Green Fuels confirms acceptance in writing.
Rexxon Green Fuels reserves the right to decline, cancel or amend an order where:
The requested product is unavailable
Payment has not been received or approved
The delivery site is unsafe or inaccessible
The order does not meet minimum volume requirements
Regulatory or compliance requirements are not met
There is a pricing, product or administrative error
Supply is affected by circumstances outside Rexxon Green Fuels’ control
The customer is responsible for checking that all order details are correct before confirming an order.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are subject to confirmation by Rexxon Green Fuels.
Prices may be affected by product cost, fuel levies, taxes, supplier increases, logistics costs, regulated price changes and other industry-related charges.
Payment terms will be agreed in writing between Rexxon Green Fuels and the customer. Unless credit terms have been approved in writing, payment may be required before supply or delivery.
Rexxon Green Fuels may suspend supply, delivery or further orders if payment is overdue, incomplete or disputed.
7. Credit Accounts
Where Rexxon Green Fuels grants a customer credit facilities, such credit is granted at Rexxon Green Fuels’ discretion.
Rexxon Green Fuels may withdraw, reduce or suspend credit facilities at any time if:
The customer fails to pay on time
The customer exceeds an approved credit limit
The customer provides inaccurate information
The customer’s financial position changes
Rexxon Green Fuels considers continued credit supply to be a risk
Granting credit once does not oblige Rexxon Green Fuels to grant credit for future orders.
8. Delivery and Logistics
Delivery is subject to availability, confirmed order details, transport capacity, route planning, product volume and compliance requirements.
Rexxon Green Fuels will take reasonable steps to deliver products within agreed timeframes. However, delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, supplier delays, depot delays, road conditions, regulatory checks, operational issues or other factors outside the company’s control.
Rexxon Green Fuels operates its own fleet for certain petroleum products and may also use reliable third-party transporters or logistics partners where required.
9. Site Access and Customer Responsibilities
The customer must ensure that the delivery site is safe, accessible and suitable for receiving petroleum products, LPG, lubricants, solvents or related goods.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
The delivery address is correct
The site can safely accommodate delivery vehicles
Storage tanks, containers or receiving equipment are suitable and compliant
An authorised person is available to receive the delivery
The required permits, certificates or approvals are in place where needed
The site complies with applicable safety, environmental and storage requirements
Rexxon Green Fuels may refuse or suspend delivery if the site is unsafe, inaccessible, non-compliant or unsuitable for delivery.
10. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery, offloading, collection or transfer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ownership of the products remains with Rexxon Green Fuels until full payment has been received.
Where products are delivered into the customer’s storage tanks, containers or equipment, the customer accepts responsibility for the condition, suitability and cleanliness of those tanks, containers or equipment.
11. Product Handling, Storage and Safety
Diesel, solvents and related goods may be flammable, hazardous or regulated.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all products are handled, stored, used and transported safely and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, safety standards and manufacturer or supplier instructions.
The customer must ensure that only trained and authorised persons handle or use such products.
Rexxon Green Fuels will not be liable for loss, damage, contamination, injury, fire, spillage, environmental harm or regulatory penalties arising from improper storage, handling, use or transfer of products after delivery.
12. Product Specifications and Quality
Rexxon Green Fuels will take reasonable steps to supply products that match the confirmed order and applicable product specifications.
The customer must inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
Any issue relating to quantity, quality, contamination, product type or delivery must be reported to Rexxon Green Fuels in writing as soon as possible, and preferably before the product is used, transferred or mixed with other products.
Rexxon Green Fuels may require product samples, delivery records, tank records or site information before assessing any claim.
13. Contamination and Mixing
The customer is responsible for ensuring that receiving tanks, containers, hoses and storage systems are clean, suitable and free from contamination before delivery.
Rexxon Green Fuels will not be responsible for contamination caused by:
Dirty or unsuitable customer tanks
Water, residue or foreign matter in storage systems
Mixing with incorrect products
Incorrect customer instructions
Unauthorised transfer or handling after delivery
Third-party interference after delivery
Once product has been delivered into the customer’s storage system, Rexxon Green Fuels may not accept responsibility for product quality unless it can be clearly shown that the issue existed before delivery.
14. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the nature of diesel products, solvents, lubricants and bulk-delivered products, returns may not be accepted once products have been delivered, offloaded, opened, transferred, contaminated or mixed.
Order cancellations may be accepted only if approved by Rexxon Green Fuels in writing.
The customer may be liable for costs already incurred, including procurement costs, transport costs, handling fees, cancellation charges or supplier charges.
Refunds, if applicable, will be handled at Rexxon Green Fuels’ discretion and subject to the facts of the matter.
15. Regulatory Compliance
The customer must comply with all laws, regulations, permits, safety requirements and environmental obligations that apply to the purchase, storage, transport, handling and use of diesel products, solvents, lubricants and related goods.
This may include requirements relating to dangerous goods, fire safety, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, storage facilities, site permits and transport documentation.
South Africa’s road transport framework includes specific requirements for dangerous goods transportation under the National Road Traffic Act, and LPG installations and storage may also be subject to workplace health and safety inspections. (Government of South Africa) (Department of Labour)
16. Environmental Responsibility
The customer must take all reasonable steps to prevent spills, leaks, contamination, fire, unsafe discharge or environmental harm.
Where a spill, leak or environmental incident occurs after delivery, the customer is responsible for immediate containment, reporting, clean-up and compliance with applicable laws, unless the incident was caused directly by Rexxon Green Fuels’ proven negligence.
Rexxon Green Fuels may refuse future supply where a customer’s site or handling practices present a safety, environmental or compliance risk.
17. Health and Safety
The customer must follow all relevant safety instructions, product warnings and applicable safety data sheets.
Rexxon Green Fuels may refuse delivery, stop offloading or leave a site where its drivers, employees, contractors, vehicles or third-party transporters are exposed to unsafe conditions.
Customers must not instruct Rexxon Green Fuels staff or transporters to perform unsafe, unlawful or non-compliant actions.
18. Third-Party Suppliers and Transporters
Rexxon Green Fuels may use third-party suppliers, depots, transporters, contractors or service providers to fulfil an order or delivery.
Rexxon Green Fuels will take reasonable steps to work with reliable third parties. However, it will not be liable for delays, disruptions or failures caused by third parties where such matters are outside Rexxon Green Fuels’ reasonable control.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rexxon Green Fuels will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of production, loss of contracts, business interruption, reputational loss or operational delays.
Rexxon Green Fuels’ liability for any claim will be limited to the value of the affected order, unless otherwise required by law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
20. Indemnity
The customer agrees to indemnify Rexxon Green Fuels, its directors, employees, contractors and service providers against any claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties or costs arising from:
Incorrect information supplied by the customer
Unsafe or non-compliant site conditions
Improper storage, handling or use of products
Customer negligence or misconduct
Environmental incidents after delivery
Breach of these Terms and Conditions
Breach of applicable laws or regulations
21. Force Majeure
Rexxon Green Fuels will not be liable for delay or failure to perform where such delay or failure is caused by events outside its reasonable control.
These may include supplier shortages, depot delays, fuel shortages, transport interruptions, strikes, riots, accidents, extreme weather, natural disasters, regulatory changes, government action, port delays, power outages, system failures, fires, explosions, pandemics or other unforeseen events.
Where a force majeure event occurs, Rexxon Green Fuels may delay, suspend, amend or cancel supply without liability.
22. Accuracy of Information
While Rexxon Green Fuels takes reasonable care to ensure that website content is accurate, it does not guarantee that all information is complete, current or free from errors.
Product information, pricing, specifications, availability and service details may change without notice.
